This “Fields of Flowers” painting, printed on a framed poster, shows a meadow with countless flowers. The horizon line clearly divides the image into two halves. The lower half of the picture shows a field or meadow. Flowers grow there in the most colorful colors, with the color red clearly dominating. We occasionally find blue, yellow and orange flowers. At the bottom edge there is a field path in the middle that invites us to walk through the sea of flowers. It's easy to imagine the gentle breeze swaying the flowers and grass back and forth. In the center of the image we see a clear horizon. There stands a leaning tree that has defied the winds for countless generations. Since we cannot see the end of the meadow, the image creates a feeling of endlessness. The deep blue sky draws the most attention to the curved brush strokes. The latter illustrate the dynamics of the sky and illustrate the power of the wind blowing across the field. Some white parts of the picture suggest clouds and at the very top we see a hint of yellow. The sun is certainly shining on some clouds from this point. Overall, the deep blue of the sky creates a cool atmosphere. The red of the flowers has a blue component and also contributes to this mood.
